Dr. Donald Hirsh founded Hirsh Chiropractic Center located in Laurel, Maryland in 1987 with his wife, Dr. Susan Hirsh. His expertise lies in the correction of postural problems that cause many, if not most, musculoskeletal and spinal problems. He treats conditions that cause chronic and acute pain and he also treats work related injuries and auto accident related injuries.
Dr. Hirsh’s practice and teaching approach focuses on putting patient care first. By concentrating on the patient’s subluxation complex, all else falls into place- a satisfied and healthier patient.

Meet Dr. Donald Hirsh of Hirsh Chiropractic Center
Dr. Donald Hirsh received his Bachelor of Science degree from State University of New York at Stony Brook in Biological Sciences and attended Florida State University to obtain his Master’s Degree in Biological Science. He received his Doctorate of Chiropractic from Life University, graduating Cum Laude, in 1987.
Dr. Donald Hirsh has a special interest in motor vehicle injury, personal injury, maternal care, pediatrics, and nutrition. He takes pride in his ability to help patients with some of the most difficult and challenging chronic pain and health problems.
Dr. Donald Hirsh is trained as a Chiropractic BioPhysics (CBP®) Postural Analysis Spine Care provider. CBP Postural Analysis Spine Correction can be your answer to back pain relief without having to undergo invasive surgery.
Dr. Hirsh has served in many leadership positions including Chairman of the International Chiropractors Association (ICA) and Chairman of the ICA’s Council on Applied Chiropractic Science. Additionally, President & current Chairman of Maryland Chiropractic Association (MCA), among other leadership roles on their Legislative committee, Posture & Science Advisory Committee, and National Legislative Committee. Dr. Donald Hirsh has been referred to as ‘the Doctor’s Doctor.’ He is a speaker for ICA’s course on Advances in the Management of Traumatic Injuries (AMTI) taught to leading doctors.

Why Choose Hirsh Chiropractic Center?
You will receive a Report of Findings that helps you learn the importance of each of your tests. These exams help Dr. Hirsh understand the subluxation process scientifically and give us a foundation for future tests in order to accurately measure your progress. Depending on your age and condition, x-rays may be used to look for vertebral subluxations (spinal misalignments) that cause nerve inflammation, position of the spinal bones and quality of the spine and how safe it is to adjust it. Not everyone can receive x-ray exams so make sure to check first.
We use all of this information to make an accurate determination of what type of chiropractic adjustments your spine needs and how often you will require these adjustments. We will go over your x-rays with you in detail at your Report of Findings. At your Report of Findings, you will be given a care plan and Dr. Hirsh will go over any specific instructions you will need in order to receive the best results in the shortest amount of time.
